Be kind to others and think before you type. There is no need to be hurtful or abusive, especially towards staff members who are here to help you. This rule can be explained with the following quote: "You shall never bother others, you shall be both fair and kind, and whatever else you do, I shall not mind.".
You must roleplay at all times. You may not disrupt, stall or void roleplay unless an admin tells you to. Roleplay must continue unless an admin on duty is present. You should not break rules because you believe someone else just did to you. Here are some examples that violate this:
If you are in the middle of an in character situation and someone speaking out of character tries to disrupt your roleplay, you should ignore them. However, if an admin is trying to contact you, you are obligated to respond to their inquiry. Refusing and/or ignoring an on duty admin's message could get you punished.
The word of an admin is final and their instructions should be followed across all of our platforms, whether they are written in the rules or not. Disputing admin instructions or actions should be done with a staff report after the fact.
Chats outside of private messages should be spoken in English only. In character chat should only ever contain English. If your character is speaking another language, the message should began with a prefix of that [Language] to let everyone know it is not in English, for example:
John_Smith says: [Spanish] Hey, what's up?
You should never use initialisms like "LOL", "OMG", in character.
If you have a 'how to' question or a general inquiry about the server, you can use /helpme in game to send a message to our testers. If you have any issues with someone then feel free to request help or report them with /report. Directly messaging admins or testers is not something we recommend. While your intentions may be pure, more often then not, our staff are handling a high volume of requests from other players. It will actually be easier to wait for a response from the help desk or report.
You are allowed to idle / AFK for up to 10 minutes, provided you are not standing in a highly populated area or somewhere where someone is likely to try and roleplay with you. If you AFK in public, it is done at your own risk. Use the command /afk when going away.
Cop baiting, defined as intentionally baiting police officers to create a chase or any other situation, is forbidden. If you leave the server, whether by quitting or timing out, during an arrest and do not come back in order to avoid being arrested, the charges will be applied to your character in addition with 611(b). Resisting a Peace Officer which is the charge for escaping from custody. When you avoid arrest, an admin may give permission to police officers to post a warrant, even if your name is not yet known to them in character.
If a road is closed by police, that does not mean that people should erratically mount the sidewalk and blast through the situation. It interrupts people trying to role-play and damages the role-play atmosphere of the scene. This is seemingly done by impatient people, or those who do not seem to realise that the sidewalk is not OK to drive on. Please refrain from doing this as a casual activity as it may result in admin action.
Think about your character's actions and consider if it would be realistic for your character to do. If your character is surrounded by a group of people it would probably be a good idea to not say or do something to provoke them and put your character at risk. If your character is a teenager they likely would not be driving around Los Santos provoking police in to a chase.
Anything from a verbal warning to a ban depending on severity.
Using out of character information in character by any means is defined as metagaming and is not allowed. Inciting someone to metagame, which means causing someone else to metagame intentionally, is also not allowed.
For example:
* Kevin Walnut sticks a note with plans to murder Parisi and Kingsley with a homemade pipe bomb into his pocket.
* Kevin Walnut was planning on killing Parisi and Kingsley with it.
The people around Kevin would not know what he was thinking or planning. An example of a correct action:
* Kevin Walnut stuffs a note into his pocket.
Using any voice chat program such as Discord, TeamSpeak, or any other program with the intent of communicating out of character information to be used in character is not allowed.
For example:
It is also against the rules to interact with another character of yours, to pass knowledge from one of your character onto another one. Your characters must interact in game with other players' characters to gain knowledge or carry out related tasks.
Law enforcement is the only group who are allowed to communicate in character by voice chat via TeamSpeak, only while they are on duty and in official communication TAC channels. Unit channels do not apply here.
You may not return to the location of your death while the scene that led to your death is still active.
Anything from an admin-jail to a ban depending on severity and outcome of your actions.
Powergaming can be defined as performing acts that are not humanlike. This includes forcing roleplay on others without giving them a fair chance, making up things which did not happen so that you can benefit, and roleplaying things which are not possible script-wise so that you can gain an unfair advantage.
For example:
* John Smith derails the train by kicking it in the rear.
* John Smith runs at 30 mph to catch up with his friends.
Or:
You may not force players in to any state if it does not happen scriptwise.
For example:
* John Smith uses his knife to stab Ricardo Mac in the heart.
Realistically a knife wound to the heart would probably kill you. However, John is being unfair by forcing this on Ricardo without giving them a fair chance to react. Targetted emotes such as this is not allowed. John should use his knife and attack Ricardo and force him in to brutally wounded mode. You can not reasonably expect another player to fall dead after a single emote. You must put them in that state.
Here is another example:
* Flement Michael shoots John Smith in his eye.
Shooting someone in the eye would have definitely incapacitated John but this again is not allowed. Flement should instead simply shooting John and put them in brutally wounded and roleplay that emote after they are in it.
While in a vehicle, including a rental, if a weapon is seen on your person, on your lap, or otherwise, it can be roleplayed by any party that spots it. If a weapon is visible in a vehicle, you may roleplay seeing it. In order to hide a weapon, you must use /place or /equip when available. You should not /place it after it has already been spotted and claim you roleplayed putting it away previously. The only exception to this rule is if a third party modification allows you to spot a weapon, i.e. in vanilla GTA:SA, you cannot see equipped weapons through a closed window so this should not be roleplayed.
Do not heal during or right after confrontations such as fights and shootouts.
When brandishing large weapons, you should always roleplay taking them out with emotes before using your weapon wheel or inventory.
You will need out of character consent from all parties involved in a scene if you want to roleplay something that does not exist script-wise. The only exception to this rule is roleplaying items such as a gun on you that you have never had or would have, regardless of who agrees. An example of something that applies here is a vehicle dashcam. The only exception to this are registered business cameras and the equipment available to on duty government / law enforcement.
Olympic swimming, continuously swimming without stopping at all to roleplay exhaustion, tiredness, etc, is forbidden. This also includes unrealistic movement while swimming, for example, zig-zag, moving back and forth at high speeds.
You may not roll while in a shooting.
You may only use company mission vehicles to perform missions. You aren't allowed to use the vehicles for personal use, or to drive around. Once you're done with a mission, return the vehicle and end the mission.
Anything from a verbal warning to a ban depending on severity.
The killing or maiming of another person with little to no reason or a reason that realistically would not justify the killing or maiming of another human being is not allowed. Provoking another person and or group in order to create an engagement that leads to a shootout and or fight is also covered under this rule and not allowed.
The Rules of Engagement must be followed by illegal factions.
Revenge killing: This only applies if you have been executed or accepted death, fully dead. If you have been saved, you continue with your memory intact.
Revenge killing is defined as trying to enact revenge by killing or maiming the person or group who just killed you, whether it is moments after or a week later. Unless a new reason has developed, this is considered revenge killing. Your character would have no memory of the events that led up to your death when you are killed.
If you have been killed or maimed and do not know why, you may ask your killer for clarification by /pm or any other means that do not disrupt roleplay. The person who killed or maimed you is obligated to respond and violates this rule if they do not. If you do not know who your killer is, you should make a report and have an admin ask them.
Anything from a verbal warning to a ban depending on severity.
Third party modifications that give you an unfair advantage over other players are not allowed. Utilize common sense before you install programs or mods, because if you are found out to be using something you should not, you will be banned. If you are in doubt as to whether a modification is allowed, ask a member of the staff team. If you think or know someone is cheating, it is your obligation to report them.
The bottom line is: if it gives you an advantage over others, it is not allowed.
Keybinds that script influential role-play/responses or give you any sort of advantage over other players are not allowed.
Frequently used emotes (not server commands) that do not drastically impact a scene - e.g. describing your character's appearance, performing a repetitive action such as keying a radio or brandishing a small weapon (where no role-play is technically needed) and anything else along those lines may be bound to a key. In short, they may only be used to enhance role-play. It is your responsibility to ensure that your binds are in line with this rule.
Vehicle modifications that alter the way a vehicle handles are not allowed.
Free cam may only be used with lead admin approval and supervision.
Modifications that alter the way your character's height, width and/or size is disallowed.
Players who install PED modifications should ensure they are in line with their default character. This includes objects from the native GTA V world. Objects should not be altered in any way whatsoever.
Ban for 1 year or longer.
Safe Zones are areas where you may not commit any crimes, which include robberies, muggings, hold ups, etc, and general harassment / intimidation.
This rules covers highly populated areas and or areas that would realistically be covered by security and cameras. These locations are, but not limited to:
For example: If you are trying to kill or maim another player and they run in to a clothing store, you can follow them and continue. You should act wisely, nonetheless and not abuse this. If they were to run in to a government building such as a police station, realistically, you would not continue to pursue and try to kill them. If the roleplay can wait until it reaches a safer location, then it should.
Anything from a verbal warning to an admin-jail depending on severity.
Disgusting roleplay may not be performed in public, even with the permission of other parties.
Under no circumstances, even with consent, can you roleplay any of the following:
Ban
Robbing is defined as taking someone's possessions (like money) by force or threat of force.
Scamming is defined as hiring another person for a service (like prostitution), or agreeing to buy/sell a certain good (like a gun/drug) and then refusing to pay/give it. Robberies and scams must be done strictly In Character.
House, business and vehicle scams are forbidden.
Robberies must be performed in a realistic manner, including a sensible player motivation to be performing the robbery. When performed realistically, it is also implied that the robber(s) must play fair and not go for vehicle-ramming robberies. Players should not be performing high risk / little reward robberies, such as performing robberies with unrealistic equipment (such as expensive assault rifles or sports cars) or performing robberies in highly populated areas with many potential witnesses. Players should not be performing robberies unless their character has a reasonable reason to be doing so (e.g. a wealthy character would not realistically need to perform stick-ups).
You may not steal properties or abuse /furniture as a furniture designer. If someone has given you a property to allow freedom to /furniture design the house, you may not simply steal the property or use this to scam people.
Legal casinos or betting shops may not scam players. This includes raffles. The maximum bet you can place in a legal betting business is $1,000,000 and all interactions must be role-played properly.
Loaning and ILLEGAL gambling is done at your own risk and is not protected by the level requirements, money limits and scam restrictions described in this rule. Admins will not help you if you lend money to other people and they do not return it, or if your money gets stolen while you are gambling. If a person runs off with your money or gets banned, then the things with that person are gone. Only give your stuff to people you trust and only gamble if you are willing to accept a potential loss.
In order to keep a good balance between fun and confusion, bank robberies require admin approval and supervision. You can ask for such a permission through /report. The rules for robbing a bank are as follows:
Intentionally upping prices above the scamming limit to avoid being scammed is forbidden.
Mutual agreements for services (including legal work) can be scammed for 75% of the agreed upon price.
You may not knowingly rob the same people more than once in a 2-hour period.
Characters participating in a robbery or scam must be level 5 or higher. Players that are lower than level 5 cannot be the sole target of a robbery or scam. If a player that is lower than level 5 is in a group with players of a higher level, they cannot have any assets taken during a robbery or scam but must participate in the roleplay surrounding it. If an administrator feels that a player lower than level 5 is taking unfair or malicious advantage of their exemption, they can punish at their own discretion.
The maximum amount of money taken during a robbery is $5,000.
You can scam a maximum of $50,000 from a player. There is no limit to how many weapons and drugs you can rob. You are not allowed to kill a player while or after robbing/scamming them unless they bring it upon themselves by showing attitude or non-compliance. If you have been robbed or scammed, you are allowed to rob back the things you have lost.
Only a maximum of three (3) players are allowed to engage in robbery roleplay together. The only weapons that are allowed to be used in a robbery are:
To engage in a robbery with more than three people and with more powerful weapons than listed, you must receive approval from a level 2 or above administrator in-game once you have given them an explanation on why you want to engage in a robbery with more than two people and with more powerful weapons.
Characters participating in a robbery or scam must be level 3 or higher. Players that are lower than level 3 cannot be the sole target of a robbery or scam. If a player that is lower than level 3 is in a group with players of a higher level, they cannot have any assets taken during a robbery or scam but must participate in the roleplay surrounding it. If an administrator feels that a player lower than level 3 is taking unfair or malicious advantage of their exemption, they can punish at their own discretion.
There is no limit to the amount of money taken during a robbery that takes place on RageMP.
You may attempt robberies on cash convoy vehicles once every 8 hours. If you are killed during a robbery attempt, you must still wait the 8 hours before participating in another.
You can scam a maximum of $25,000 from a player. There is no limit to how many weapons and drugs you can rob. You are not allowed to kill a player while or after robbing/scamming them unless they bring it upon themselves by showing attitude or non-compliance. If you have been robbed or scammed, you are allowed to rob back the things you have lost.
Anything from a verbal warning to a ban depending on severity.
You may not change the name of your character, or Character Kill (CK) yourself when:
The evasion of In Character repercussions using any other Out Of Character methods is also forbidden. You are not allowed to transfer, sell or give away money and properties if there is a court case in progress involving you, or if the court has ordered you to do something and you still have not done it.
Anything from a verbal warning to a ban depending on severity. Borrowed or repossessed assets will also be removed from your character.
1 on 1 fights between inmates require 2+ correctional officers on duty. If no custody deputies are online, you can request admin permission. The fight must be secluded (in a cell) with good reason to be granted. Attacking a correctional officer or starting a brawl (3+ people) requires 4 or more custody deputies on duty. Breaking in and out of prison requires admin permission, as well as 5 or more custody deputies on duty. To check the amount of custody deputies on duty, use the command /onduty.
The prison has a security and camera system that covers 100% of the facility, except cell interiors (who leaves/enters cells is recorded). There is a control room watching over the prison cameras.
Anything from a verbal warning to a ban depending on severity.
You need permission from a senior admin to burn or destroy a property. You can ask for permission with a report. Your justification for destroying a property must be strong and realistic. This does not include faction properties.
When a property is destroyed, it is temporarily closed to everyone for 3 days. Items inside will remain. Furniture will not be destroyed.
If you wish to trash / attack another faction's property to mimic a destruction, but not cause closure, you do not need permission to do so.
Player vehicles may not be destroyed.
Attacks on faction properties, including (but not limited to) businesses, complexes, and houses must be pre-approved by a member of the Faction Team Council before the attack is performed. If this approval has not already been gained when the attack is performed, the attack will not count and will be voided.
Anything from an admin jail to a ban depending on severity.
The following rules apply specifically to properties ran as businesses:
Business robberies: If you want to commit a robbery inside of an open business, you require admin permission.
Business Shootings and Stabbings: If you want to shoot or stab (using a knife) another player or group inside of a business that is open and occupied, you require admin permission. Businesses that are not open to the public, or are always open; (like a 24/7, gas station) are excluded from this rule and do not require admin permission. Some businesses, such as clothing stores, may be a safe zone.
Sensible advertising: You may not advertise "free drinks" as a selling point for your business and raffles/giveaways should not be done frequently. Casinos are excluded from the raffles/giveaway ruling.
Your ownership of a business or lease of a business may be challenged should you break the 'sensible advertising' rule.
Players who own a property are required to maintain activity of at least 2 hours in the past 14 days. If you are unable to remain active, you may request an absence from the Head of Properties.
Players with active premium memberships are exempt from the property inactivity rules.
Loss of properties with no refund.
You may not temporarily buy a property for the sole reason of selling its furniture for a quick profit. Businesses must be match the business type. A 24/7 business must be designed to look like a 24/7. It may not resemble a club, restaurant or other business.
It is not allowed to create "deathmatch" interiors, which give the defender a major advantage in a barricaded situation. Narrow hallways, angles invisible to the breacher, and other areas designed with a play to win mentality are strictly forbidden.
Anything from loss of furniture to loss of property and an admin-jail depending on severity.
Anything from a warning to loss of complex and admin-jail.
If a user is required to contact you before the sale of one of the apartments, you are only allowed to demand a small portion of the market and sale price as compensation / roleplayed deposit. Dependencies of the market price will determine how much you can demand but it must not be any more than 20% of the market price value (Price to /buyhouse) and no more than 5% of the sale price. If you have a MP of over $200,000 you must contact the Head of Commerce & Estate Team before taking money from a sale.
Examples of prices are:
- Sale of apartment, $1,300,000 including MP. MP is $150,000. Complex owner is entitled to $85,750. Apartment seller is entitled to $1,214,250.
- Sale of apartment, $300,000 excluding MP. MP is $30,000. Complex owner is entitled to $21,000. Apartment seller is entitled to $309,000.
It is not allowed to use a VPN or a Proxy when connecting to either game server. You're allowed to use a VPN or Proxy when using the UCP, Forum, or other out of game services.
It's possible to grant an exception to this rule to trusted community members. If you have a valid reason to use a VPN, head to VPN Permission Request (ls-rp.com) to check out our requirements & the process.
You'll be blocked from joining the game while the VPN is active and banned if you refuse to disable it.
SA-MP physics and movements in-game are hardcoded and cannot be changed via scripting so the following is forbidden to avoid non-roleplay situations:
Anything from a warning to an admin-jail. BMX permissions can be revoked if abused.
- You are allowed to ninja-jack others whilst being chased by the police. Police are allowed to ninja-jack players out of a vehicle they've ninjajacked themselves as an immediate response.
- You are allowed to ride in and shoot from the back of trucks and boats. You are also allowed to have one person surfing on your bicycle as if they are standing on the pegs or sitting on the handlebars.
- On duty SWAT (must have used /swat) can drive-by without a driver.

Purchasing a private skin carries a fee of 2000 credits. Credits are subtracted from your account only when the skin is approved. Upon approval, the skin is available to use for 30 days. You can renew the skin for 500 credits, which extends it for another 30 days. Players with active Premium Membership have one free renewal available every 30 days.
If your skin expires due to lack of renewal, or a ban, you'll have to purchase it for 2000 credits again.
When in doubt, create a ticket on Discord or contact a member of leadership to verify if your skin mod will be approved before purchasing credits for a Private Skin.
